
Karina De La Cruz
As Vice President of Community for CSAA Insurance Group, Karina leads all the Total Social Impact programs, encompassing Inclusion & Belonging, Community Impact, and Sustainability. She also oversees the People & Culture Transformation Office, which includes the center of excellence for project and change management, as well as the oversight and management of the flexible work environment strategy. Additionally, she is responsible for Meeting, Events & Travel.
Her role is focused on shaping the organization’s company culture both within the organization and in the communities we serve. Her role is focused on supporting inclusive, resilient and vibrant communities where CSAA employees, customers, and communities thrive.
Since joining CSAA Insurance Group in 2003, Karina has cultivated her passion for fostering a positive company culture through a series of HR roles with increasing responsibilities, including HR Strategic Business Partner, HR Executive, and Culture & Inclusion Executive. She was appointed to her current role in June 2019.
Under her leadership, the company has been recognized as a leader in diversity and inclusion by Diversity Best Practices and Diversity Inc, and has maintained its longstanding record (since 2005) as one of the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s Best Places to Work for LGBTQ Equality. The company has also been recognized as a leader in community impact through the Civic 50.
Prior to her tenure with CSAA Insurance Group, Karina held HR roles with Outsourcing Solutions Inc. and MCI, where she began her career. Karina serves as President of the Board for Monument Crisis Center in Concord, California, and is a Prosci Certified Change Management Practitioner.
