Mission Statement
Monument Crisis Center provides food, education, assistance, and referrals to families and individuals in crisis situations, and promotes community awareness of needs and available resources to at-risk and low-income people in Contra Costa County.

Monument Crisis Center officially opens to serve the community.

Monument Crisis Center hosts its first annual turkey distribution for local families.

The Holiday Adopt-A-Family program launches to support families during the holiday season.

The Resource and Referral Program begins to take shape, connecting clients with essential services.

2020 — COVID-19 Shelter in Place Response
Services adapt following county shelter-in-place orders.
2020 — Outdoor Food Distribution Operations
Food services move outdoors for safety during the pandemic.
2020 — First on-site flu clinic hosted
Health Services hosted its first on-site flu clinic.
2021 — 25,000 Households Served
MCC reaches a milestone of serving 25,000 households.
2021 — COVID-19 Vaccination Partnership
MCC partners with La Clinica to provide vaccinations.
2021 — Market Street Property Purchased
The Market Street location becomes MCC’s permanent home.
2022 — Reopening Indoor Services
Services resume indoors following COVID-19 restrictions.

The first Taps & Tacos summer fundraiser is held.
