Monument Crisis Center is in search of motivated, involved & caring high school tutors who enjoy working with elementary students.
After School Café provides a safe space for elementary students where they are able to receive quality help with their homework , have access to educational activities, healthy snacks & much more!
- One to one tutoring in person
- Read to a dog program
- Visits by Contra Costa Library
- Homework Help for a child in need
- Building positive relationships with youth
Tutoring schedule:
August 18 – October 27
Tuesdays & Wednesdays | 3:15–4:30 PM
IMPORTANT NOTICE: We are looking for tutors for Wednesdays ONLY!
Thanks to the wonderful volunteers who have already reached out we are full for tutors on Tuesdays, but we still have volunteer availability for Wednesdays!

TEEN CENTER
Want to make a difference in the lives of teens?
Our Teen Center Program is looking for caring adults and college students to join us this fall!
We work with 6th–8th grade students and provide a safe, supportive space where they can learn, grow, build confidence, and have fun!
As a volunteer, you can help with:
- Homework & academic support
- STEM activities
- Fun & creative activities
- Life skills & mentorship
- Building positive relationships with youth
Tutoring schedule:
August 18 – October 27
Tuesdays & Wednesdays | 3:15–4:30 PM
IMPORTANT NOTICE: We are looking for tutors especially for Tuesdays!
There are currently 8 volunteer slots available on Tuesdays and 4 on Wednesay. We especially need support for our Tuesday programming.
Whether you’re a college student looking for experience or simply someone who loves working with youth, we’d love to have you on our team!
