​Chris Day is a dedicated family man who carries that same commitment and passion into his career. With over 30 years of retail leadership experience, he has built a track record of delivering results while leading with integrity.

Currently, he leads 30 direct reports and over 2,500 employees across 22 Safeway stores, setting the standard through action and consistently striving to go above and beyond for both customers and employees. Mentoring others is a true passion of his—he takes pride in fostering growth, building strong teams, and creating environments where people can thrive.

In addition to his professional career, he is passionate about giving back to the community through his work with the Monument Crisis Center, where he is able to volunteer and serve on the Board of Directors.
