Volunteer Program
The Monument Crisis Center opened in August 19, 2003. The first day there was one volunteer Sandra Scherer, Executive Director. The second day we had one more volunteer, an eleven year old girl who translated for Sandra. Our volunteers range from five to ninety two years old. On a daily basis we see between five to thirty volunteers a day. Our volunteers come with energy, enthusiasm and the ability to get the work done. Without our volunteers we would not be who or were we are today.
